When there are multiple child cases - pega is throwing error
For my project, whenever the parent case have more than 100 child cases (it goes up to 250) below error is displayed on screen:
"ERRORS: •The Flow Action pre-processing activity pyCreateRelatedCasesByCaseGrid failed: java.lang.StackOverflowError"
Please suggest.

Could you share the full stack trace of your error from the log file or log file itself, so that it can be helpful for us to find the root cause of the issue. Also kindly let us know the version of your Product so that it can be helpful for community members to start investigation if they have full details about the issue rather than waiting for information.

Added with what Mahesh suggested, it is also a good idea to do a bit of research at your end .
Since the error talks about the activity, pyCreateRelatedCasesByCaseGrid , my focus will be on this one.
This is a very simple activity which runs a report ( pyCasesRelatedToCase ) to get related cases to a work case.
Run tracer and see which step it is failing and throwing the exception.
Especially see whether the paramters on step 3 are getting passed properly or not.
