JMS compression settings
The client is currently using JMS for message transport. Currently the size of the messages are relatively small (<10kb). This is about to change and the sizes are estimated to be 100-200kb possibly greater.
The client wantes to know if Pega provides configuration in the JMS Connectors to turn on any built in message compression. For general JMS connector rules there are no compression type settings. Is there anything from a config file persepective that can be used to institute compression being used during the JMS message transport?

I don't think that Pega provides a built in feature to achieve that. Although compression can be enabled for HTTP connectors by adding a few attributes in server.xml.
For JMS, you an enable large message compression by configuring your connection factories in the application server. For example,
<connection-factory name="ConnectionFactory">
<connectors>
<connector-ref connector-name="netty"/>
</connectors>
...
<compress-large-messages>true</compress-large-messages>
</connection-factory>

I have a litt more info...The requirement is to set the JMS_TIBCO_COMPRESS property on the messages.
Would this be accomplished by simply setting that property as part of the request?
