Can I configure a button to have different action sets conditionally?
I need to have a customized GetNext button in Home Page Dash board for various workbaskets. Please see attached the screenshot of the portal. This getNext Button activity should either open the work object pulled or show error Harness. When we try to configure this button, It only gives two options to add - 1) "Open Work Item" Action - which works fine if getNext is returning a case. but doesnt work if there is no case available for the user to work on. 2)"Refresh This section" or "Show Harness"- this works fine when there is an error. if there is a WorkObject returned by teh activity, show Harness action doesnt open the assignment for teh user to work on. Can anyone provide a good resolution for this scenario?

Hi,
Each Button action has a When condition associated with it. See attahed. Can you check if that can be used for your condition?
Another way is to have 2 seperate sections. Each contains the button with different action sets. During the run time, you can make only one of them to be displayed based on the conditions.

For every control we have a chance to perform actions but some of the action have the pre conditions to check. It depends on your requirement other we have a chance to disable the button based on the conditions.

I have implemented a similar scenario. I faced issues with the when rule. Instead I used Other property option in the condition and so that value could be available for evaluation at client side. I have added a hidden field. Then the conditions would work fine.
