PEGA0039 Performance Impacts

Hello,

Need help understanding PEGA0039 alert. What are the impacts to overall performance when huge files are uploaded? And when user clicks the attachment link on user portal to open the file? Are the impacts on jvm side or on DB side or on both.

For one of our application we used OOB file attachments all attachments are stored on PEGA and we have noticed user's uploading huge attachments. Total number of users for the application is around 40 working actively , each case may have attachments of around 10.

The impact is at the memory level for the jvm. If you have any other memory intensive processes, they may compete.
