Appreciate your response on the below requirement .
I need to show the filter icon next to the label of the header irrespective of the length of column data , is there any way to customize this ? ( Screen below)

Hi,
We always display the filter icon to the extreme right of the column header. I am not sure I understand your requirement correctly.

Yes , insated of extreme right is there any option to customize to make it appear next to the label heading , like in above screen , next to the status label

Hi,
There is no OOB way to get the filter icon in grid close to label when you have the column width more (for example the status column in above pic).
This is because the generated code will have the div for the label as per the column width and the after that we have the spans for the filter.
And a potential reason for this design is we show sorting icon beside the label , so it is good to show another icon in a diff location, so that users are not confused.
