Flow in Modal Dialog loosing page context

We are using "Flow in Modal Dialog" PEGA option, to launch the a Flow. The modal dialog is launched in a new thread. Due to this, we are losing previous thread data which is used to proceed the flow. 

How can we retain the page context in this scenario?

Did you try "Using Page" option? I think it shouldn't go to a new thread unless you explicitly tell it to do so.
