Can anyone help me in explaining What all we define for creating a CASE?

One place to start is, first log in to the Pega developer portal.  Then

1) Stretch your window a bit wider on the left side, if you need to make the "cases, data, app, records . . ." icons appear on the left.  [ why is this stretching necessary ?? ]

2) Choose "cases".

3) Within the case type explorer that appears, choose "browse gallery"
