Pega 7.1.9 supports split databases for Rules and Data
We are upgrading from Pega 6.3 SP1 to Pega 7.1.9. We are looking for the option to split the database for rules and data instead of split schema. Is it possible to configure two different databases, one for rules and the other for data.

You can configure two different schemas not two different database instances.

Configuring separate databases for rules and data is not something which is certified/supported for current versions of PRPC. This requirement is something our Engineering will review to be considered for future version of PRPC.
