External scanning system integration (Captiva)
I get a requirement from a customer which want to integrate a scanning system (Captiva) with Pega 7 (Ml9 or 7.2 version). The scenario is, Captiva scan a document, recognize and adjust data, than it want to send to Pega the Scanned Image and metadata, how this integration can be built, rest API, web services or what else? Do we have any rap or documentation on how to do it? Do we implement it somewhere else?

this what I was thinking, but the requirements is Pega Expose a web services which Captiva can contact and send Metadata and Image of the scanned document. I'm not an expert in integration, I don't know how to pass a document via-web services. I've seen the integration with Docu Sign, so I need to implement something similar.
Do you know if there is any helpful RAP I could use?
Implementing a Service that Captiva can then send scanned document attachments to is a fairly straightforward use case. Perhaps go through Integration courses on PegaAcademy where you will find example RAPs.
