Issue with calender Data Instance
Hi Team,
We have an issue with calender Data instance, we are getting 'false' as return value for friday even we specify friday as business day in Calendar data instance.I have provides the details below
Condition :-
@(Pega-RULES:BusinessCalendar).isBusinessDay(Local.tempDate , "") by passing the local.tempDate as : 20160513T223700.000 GMT(GMT Format )
This same function is working fine in 6.2 but not in Pega 7
Operator Profile Details :

This SR has been resolved.
Root Cause: The calculation performed was based on the business calendar specified. When this value is adjusted to the user's timezone, it does not recheck whether the adjustment is a business day or not.
Resolution: Apply HFix-21899

Can you try passing the calendar name in the function directly and see the behavior once?

We are facing this issue even if we pass the calendar name to the function(i.e.., Default)
Issue :
Function is returning False for [Friday, Saturday] but returning True for Sunday(i.e.., it is calculating Friday, Saturday as non-business days and Sunday as business day). We are assuming there could be any problem with the time zone [or] the server time zone which caused Friday as non-business day. From SMA I can see that our system time zone is MST

We are accurate in configuring Calendar Data instance and operator ID pointing to American/Network Time Zone and using this function isbusinessday(). Can you please suggest us any other approach [OR] can we raise an SR with GCS Team.

I believe this needs more detailed analysis with log and tracer etc.
I recommend you to open an SR with Global Customer Support Team and update this discussion thread with the SR number.
Also, would be great if you can collect tracer , log file and attach that while creating the SR.
