Performance issue in Production

Hi Team,

We are facing performance issue in Production environment, the servers are getting restsrt by its own.

In logs we found below exceptions. (PFA exception in detail and also the weblogic configuration)

com.pega.pegarules.pub.database.ConnectionException: Database-General   Problem encountered when getting connection for database pegadata       0               Unexpected exception while enlisting XAConnection java.sql.SQLException: XA error: XAResource.XAER_RMFAIL start() failed on resource 'PegaSevenRules_pega_7': XAER_RMFAIL : Resource manager is unavailable

javax.transaction.xa.XAException: Internal error: XAResource 'PegaSevenRules_pega_7' is unavailable

Request you to kindly suggest what can be the root cause for the performance issue.

Pega version : PRPC 7.1

From the exception trace, it looks like Database is not available.

Can you check Database server connectivity from Application server?

Also, kindly share PegaRULES and Weblogic nohup log.

It specifies the maximum no. of physical connections a connection pool can contain.
