fuction for duplicate finding and removing in pega 7.1.x
hi is there any ootb functionality to find a duplicate in a database or list on giving property

You are able to use the OOTB Duplicate Search smart shape to identify potential duplicate cases. Read this up in the help at https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v721/procomhelpmain.htm.

Use the Below java code which removes duplicates from the list
ClipboardPage BackupPage= tools.findPage("BackupPage");
if(BackupPage!= null) {
pega_rules_utilities.pzRemoveDuplicatesFromListPage("BackupPage","ActualID");
}
Backuppage is clipboardpage and ActualID is the property where you need to compare
