Duplication check in a activity and remove it in the pagelist
Hello,
I am new to pega i am currently still deciding whether to use activity or data transform but however i have decide to use run an activity for duplicate check and set error message
Currently i am working on a project where the user want to add in a secondary citizenship where if the user select a secondary citizenship where there already an existing page list with the same it will not be added but remove and an error message will appear, it is currently build from an auto complete function where the source is call from data page through report definition
i have not work on an run activity before so i not sure how to get started is there an example of where i can follow step by step ?

@Tingw16594322 Since you have a Button add to list , you can use the function IsInPagelist to check if the selected value already exist in the list and then throw an error accordingly.
You can also use Data transform to do this , Use pxAddMessageToPage function to throw the error message .

Consider CitizenList is the Pagelist and SecondaryCitizenship is the Autocomplete.
Step 1 : When --> @IsInPageList(.SecondaryCitizenship,"Country",CitizenList.pxResults)
Step 1.1 Param.Run -> @pxAddMessageToPage("Selected Secondary Citizenship already exists", Primary)

Do u know the activity for duplication check and remove it ? assuming
Consider CitizenList is the Pagelist and SecondaryCitizenship is the Autocomplete and write the error display in the activity list ?
I want to compare result such as this would not happen to be like this where the first it add it wouldnt compare it only compare when 2nd time add and 3rd time add as the length for secondary citizenship require is 3 only
