Question: How to use Group By in Pega
I have a question about using Group by in PEGA, acttually two questions:
1. What is suggested approach for implementing "group by" functionality in PEGA for reports or data pages?
2. I need to implement a "group by" functionality. I'm using a report and Summarize option in "Edit columns" section. Putting this report in a repeat grid and not able to save repeat grid section, getting error message:<cell property> is not a valid Report-Definition Field. pyRDName: Summary type Report-Definition are not supported for Repeating Grid.
I'm doing something wrong?

You can do a "Group By" just fine using a Report Definition -- simply add a Summarized column such as COUNT pyID.
What you cannot do is source Section to a Summary Report Definition.
To have a Section display summarized values you, instead, need to source the Section to a List Data Page that in turn sources the Summary Report Definition.
To display a summarized value look at the Clipboard to see how it is defined, e.g., .pySummaryText(1)

When i am using count it is not at all giving group by feature . Please help how i can make group by query
