Hover over section view in "Column Filter" not displaying in Report Definition

Hover over section view for values in "Column Filter" not displaying in Report Definition, however it displays well when we hover on the value of same column of the fetched records for Report Definition

The following are the steps followed to display smart info in Report Definition.

  1. Drag Repeat Grid layout into the section canvas.
  2. Configure the Repeat grid to be sourced from Report Definition as shown in the below screen shot.
  4. Configure the Report Definition columns in the repeat grid.
  5. Create the section rule in Applies To class of Report Definition.
  6. Configure the section to include the hover message and condition if any as shown in the below screen shot.
  8. Configure the Report Definition columns in the repeat grid.
  9. Create the section rule in Applies To class of Report Definition.
  10. Configure the section to include the hover message and condition if any as shown in the below screen shot.

  12. Select the Applicability as “Read-Only” if the Repeat Grid row edit option is none, else select “Editable” or “Both”.

  13. Save this section rule.
  14. Verify during the run time.
  16. Click on column filter and Hover over to the respective value and make sure smart info does not display.

Hi GowriShankar,

We re using the Pega 7.1.9, we are unable to see the option for add an event called "Hover", Other events are empty, please find the below image.

Would you please help me.

Raghu,

If you notice the earlier screen shots , the hover event is added on cell properties but in your case you are doing it on layout. Check if the same is working on cell properties or not.

Hi,

I think row level hover is not available, rather you can achieve cell level hover for the repeating grids.

So, if you have a repeating grid which has three columns, then configure the hover action for all the three cells independently.
