Display records in report definition from Data table on a button click
Hello,
I am trying to fetch and display data in a Report Definition based on the value given in the Textbox. But when I run the Section with Report definition, it loads with all the data that is available in my Data Table. Please say the flow to get only the searched result to display in the Report Definition.

Hi Shalini,
I can think of this idea now using PRPC 7.1.6
Navigate to the Data Class (Data Table), and create a Report Definition with a Parameter. This parameter must be used in the Filter condition of the same report.
Create a Data Page on the Data Class(Data table) and call this report. keep a parameter in the Data Page as well and pass the same parameter to the report while calling it.
While calling the section pass the value accepted in the text box, and call the Data page to populate the desired data.
