Upgrade Guidance 5.5 to 7.2
Good afternoon,
Could you point me to documentation on how to upgrade from pega 5.5 to Pega 7.2. I was informed that there is a tool that can help with this. We currently have a 5.5 physical Pega environment. We are looking to migrate that to a Pega 7.2 cloud environment. Therefore, I am looking for documentation on what path to follow for this.

However, since you will be moving to Pega cloud environment after upgrade, you can get in touch with Pegasystems, they will provide more guidance on this.

Just adding a note here, -Incase if you are using CPM framework please download and refer CPM Upgrade guide from PDN, as the major flows in CPM has been changed. You need to save as the flow's from latest OOTB version and manually change it according to your existing flow's.
