Split a PDF file pages to individual file and storing on Server directory, then merge few selected files from it

Hi,

I have requirement where i need to use the attachment of PDF from work object and then split the PDF file pages into individual PDF files, store them on server directory. Use few of the splitted files which are selected and then merge those PDF's and create a new PDF file of merged files. Please help me how to use the work object attached PDF and split it and save on server local directory and then merge it.

Please help me in this regard.
