SLA problems
An SLA is defined below .what would be the value of urgency after 5 days of no action
default urgency =10
initial urgency =15
goal-1 day -10
deadline -3days-15
passed deadline -1day-10
repeating passed deadline -3times
i want to know the urgency of this problemm..
my doubts are...
1.should we add both default and urgency value both to overall urgency
2.if repeating deadline is not given what we have to do....should we assume it ? so that we can calculate for 5 days

1. if you meant to write should we add both the "default and initial" urgency values, the answer is yes.
2. no. if there is no repeating interval set, the passed deadline (if set) will only trigger that one time passed the deadline.

I think the urgency value after 15 days will be 85 (10 (Initial) + 10 (Goal) + 20 (Deadline) + 15 (Passed Deadline - after 7th day) + 15 (after 11th day) + 15 (after 15th day) ). Passed Deadline would trigger at the end of 7th and 12th days
(10 (Initial) + 10 (Goal) + 20 (Deadline) + 15 (Passed Deadline - after 7th day) + 15 (after 12th day)

After 1 Day Urgency: 10+10=20 (initial + Goal )
After 2 Day Urgency: 10+10+20=40 (initial + Goal + deadline)
After 7 Day Urgency: 10+10+20+15=55 (initial + Goal + deadline+passed deadline)
now as the repeating interval is 4, so you don't have to wait for 4 days instead you have to wait for 5 days(i.e. passed deadline time) and have to repeat it 4 times
After 12 Day Urgency: 10+10+20+15+15=70 (initial + Goal + deadline+passed deadline+ passed deadline(interval:2))
Now it will update after 17th day. So after 15 days it is 70.
Further if you want to calculate it will change after 17 days and will be : 10+10+20+15+15+15=85 (initial + Goal + deadline+passed deadline+ passed deadline(interval:2)+passed deadline(interval:3))

hii, iam not getting why we have to wait for 7 days as repeating deadline interval is 4 days can you give explanation . also as per your caluclation after 14 days the sla value is 70 . It was asked to give value of sla after 15 days.so then it should be 85 . The sla caluclation is a bit confusing,could you explain me to get this Thanks

Passed Deadline Days are 5 and Repeating interval from Deadline are 4, so we have to add passed deadline urgency 4 times every 5 days.
And for you second question, Once it is calculated on 12th day it will be calculated on 17th day(i.e. 15+ Passes deadline days). So till 17th day it will be 70 and on 17th day it will be 85
