Ruleset Validation
Hi Team,
In my understanding the Application Based Validation ruleset can reference all rules in rulesets defined in the same application and rulesets belonging to any built-on application.Could someone elaborate why we are not able to access the shaded rulesets from unshaded rulesets in the below example taken from PDN site.

| LoanPricingFW | Can call LoanUnderwritingFW but not shaded rulesets. |

Hello
This is based on general principles of class hierarchy. The shaded applications are applications, built on framework applications. So LoanPricing has been built on LoanPricingFW. Therefore these implementation application rulesets belong to built-on framework application ruleset.
The non-shaded applications of LoanPricingFW and LoanUnderwritingFW are built on the Pega 7 application. Therefore the non-shaded applications have no knowledge of the shaded applications.

I think the whole confusion is caused becuase of the below sentence in help
Each shaded or unshaded cell represents an application and each name represents a ruleset.
For the word 'cell' reader assumes the meaning of Excel cell hence the confusion is caused.
Though there are two shaded cells they actually represent a single application. Above they should have mentioned each shaded or unshaded portion represents an application.Or they should have added a one extra column names application in left.
