Problem to optimize a property
Hi,
looking for an advise how to resolve the following situation: a property has been optimized for a report, then the property has been dropped from optimization table by Pega optimization tool and I was able to confirm that property has been removed from optimization DB table. So far so good. Now, I want to optimize that same property again and Pega says it is already optimized.
What could be done?

Hi, thank you for replay, unfortunately even activity runs successfully it does not change anything. Do I have to run it under specific permissions? Is it even possible to changfe Rule-Obj-Property class properties?

One more approach could be -
1) Create the database column for the property using DB script
2) Resave the corresponding Data-Admin-DB-Table instance
3) Run command line prpcUtils.bat/sh -expose utility to fetch the value from BLOB and save into database table.

Another approach -
Property optimization metadata for each property is stored as instance of 'Log-System-PropertyOptimization' class in pr_changelog table.
Pega will say property is already optimized on the basis of this metadata.
So just delete the entry for your property from pr_changelog table using Obj-Delete-By-Handle in an activity or using database query to clear the metadata.
I used following query to delete metadata for my property and worked for me -
delete from rules.pr_changelog where pzInsKey like 'LOG-SYSTEM-PROPERTYOPTIMIZATION <MY_PROPERTY_NAME>%'

Remove record in "Log-System-PropertyOptimization" for your property.

Pass Parameter: pzinskey of your property.
Check all parameters.
If you look at the advanced tab for an optimized Property you will see an "Optimized for classes" list.
View the XML of the Property in question, particularly: <pzOptimizedForClassList REPEATINGTYPE="PropertyList">
