Pega0050 Alert

I am getting Pega0050 alert repeatedly.

As per the below link ML8 will fixed this alert and we can disable it using prConfig file.

​we are using Pega 7.1.8 version. Will it be ok if we disable it?

As per the article you reference in your question, the advice is to simply disable if not updating to 7.1.8. I'm sure this advice would not be published if there were detrimental effects.
