Pega SOR Data Design Best Practice

We have Siebel as SOR but some of the data will be migrating to Pega Sales as SOR. Now I want to reuse as much as possible as and I can see few properties are at framework Work level. My question is- if I create the data model for SOR in the Org-Data-XXX level, I am afraid I can't reuse the framework work level properties...

What is the best approach to design data model for Pega as SOR...?
