As of now we are storing Case/Work Object in BLOB. We need to read it using interface definition language (IDL) of storage device and save the WorkObject in big data kind of storage structure to support huge data and to make the application regulatory compliance for long years ( ex Insurance Domain ). Analytics and Machine learning can be applied on this data using newer techniques which helps businesses to target customers according to their consumption Patterns.

New Storage means , Latest way of storing data like Google , amazon , EMC2 similar to Big Data concept. What ever I wrote is some theatrical concept which has business value to the product in long term.

My concept of data storage is like pluggable hardware instead of having big data centers to store data. Private Data storage box given to clients which can be plugged during application development and taken by them after its done. Future analytics will be done on hardware box directly instead of database and all that stuff. Its a new way approach to build Pluggable BPMs
