MSOParseExcelFile utility not to be available in Pega 7

Hi All,

 

PRPC 6x I recall an activity named similar to MSOParseExcelFile, used to import data from Excel files. Activity accepted a Rule-File-Binary and Excel path to interpret and parse excel data into clipboard structure. However in version 7 I do not see this activity. 

 

Is there any other way to acheieve excel import functionality?

starting Pega 7.1.6 all binary files, final & internal rules are filtered in rule search bar.

to enable search we have to either use

  • old: or
  • have the when rule 'IsAPegaDeveloper' evaluated to true always in private checkout.
