Regarding Data Archival Utility

Hi,

The Purge/Archival tool inside pega cannot be Customized. As per our requirements, we need to Customize the Archiving Process.

Recently, we came through the Archiving/Purge Tool Provided by Pega Community.(please refer to the following URL):

As per the User Guide of this Tool, it has mentioned that "This tool is not Supported by Pega, which means if you encounter an issue or need any enhancements you cannot raise a Support SR to GCS to provide any fix or resolution" .

Can you please confirm the above Statement is true.

1. Does Pega GCS Support this tool or not.
2. What is the Success ratio of this tool for the customers who are already using this tool.

Hi ReddiPrasad,

Yes. This tool is a community tool and is not officially supported by Pega. As this is not part of Pega Product, issues with this tool cant be considered as a product defect/enhancement.

As this is a community tool this is not supported by Pega . You can raise any questions regarding the tool in the discussion forum and our team will respond on timely manner.

We are not sure whether any customer deployed in production as this tool is recently published.
