measuring performance of adaptive model

Hi,

 

for this question in the chapter predective analytics.

 

What is the performance of an adaptive model if it CANNOT differentiate interested customers from not interested customers better than random selection? (Choose One) 

correct answer is provided as 0.5 . shouldn't the answer be 50?

 

but is it the performance gauged as percentage is n't it ?. my understanding propensity (probability) is between 0 and 1.

 

please correct me if i am wrong. thanks.

Hi,

 

To reassure yourself you can map a strategy  property, ModelPerformance say,  to the performance of the model under output mappings in the Adaptive Model component. Execute a test and examine the value of the ModelPerformance property
