Issue - Bulk Revalidate and Save with "multi thread" selected
Hello,
I am using the bulk revalidate and save utility in 7.1.8. The report is incomplete and throws the below exceptions for most of the rule records.
"** .pyRuleSet: ** StandardValidate-OperatorNotAllowedCheckOut"
Note: The OperatorID I use has admin privileges and "Allow Check out" checkbox checked.
I have re-run the utility by unchecking the "multithread" option, and it works fine.
Suggestions:
1) I would like to be comfortable after running the utility, by ensuring that the utility has triggered the validate and save for all the rules in the system. It would be nice if there is some sort of mechanism to check the rules that were not scanned or executed.
I am throwing some thoughts over here... - LastUpdateDateTime or Rules with Last UpdatedBy other than the OperatorID used for bulk revalidate and save.

Hi Harish,
Thanks for the feedback. Currently there will be a check-in memo for bulk revalidate and save on all validated rules.I assume you are expecting a list of all successfully validated rules in an excel or other tabular format. Is that right ?

Even after disabling the "Multi threqded" I am still able to reproduce the issue. We are upgrading to 7.2 and the bulk resave & validate tool still throwing the same error. Did you fiund any work around or the issue was fixed?
