How can i add linebreak in xml , input is from TextArea

HI Team,

 

There is requirement to read an new line from TextArea input and pass to downstream in xml format using service call.

 

When multiline input given, it all passed in single in service request xml, please advise if there is any way to acheive in 7.1.7
