How to add validation at filter criteria in Report Definition?
I have a requirement that user should be able to select 2 dates (To and From) from filter criteria in Report Definition and report will be fetched based on the timeline selected. A validation has to be added that user cannot select past date. Can this be done in Report Definition?

Yes, You most certainly can.
1. In UI - Section, define the 2 dates. Add the validation rule against necessary date fields.
2. On click of the button, call the report definition and pass the dates to the RD.

Thanks for the response Jaffer! I know it can be done using a section but i am actually not using any section. I am prompting the filter criteria through the report definition itself and passing the selected To and From date values to get the list. Is there any way to add validation to the filter criteria in the RD itself?

Hello, You can use custom section for filtering in report defination . In that section you can have your validation. Although the apply filter and clear filter would be pega OOTB.
