It's not always clear to me that I have earned an achievement badge. Eventually, I get around to refreshing the widget and see that I have new badges. If I have been messing around with a bunch of options at once, I could earn multiple badges and not really know why until I click them and read the related article. Suggest having a quick pop-up or message that is displayed as soon as I fulfill the badge criteria so that users get positive reinforcement on the actions that we want them to take. Something like "Congratulations, you earned the [xxx badge] by creating your first Service Request case. To see what other badges you can earn, see the Achievements widget on your dashboard".

Or perhaps a "tip" that is displayed when I'm using a feature that is related to an achievement. This would help introduce users to badges. "Tip: Add a field to a form to earn the [xxx] badge".

Another thought is to add a tour stop on the Achievements widget if we don't have one already. I mention what these are in the online help but there really isn't any emphasis on the widget otherwise.
