Elapsed time spent in writing FUAEntry/AssembledClass to Database is taking 154 seconds for any transactions in Pega.

Hi All,

We have Pega instance available in one of the Jboss server. From Friday we are facing server slowness and getting lot of Pega0005(DB Time) alerts in Pega Alert logs. If i perform any transaction it taking atleast more than 2mins. I have taken the sample reading from PAL for one of the transaction.

Please let me know how to mitigate this issue. This server we are using from Past one year and i don't think any coding issue causing this slowness. May be its out side of Pega. Please let me know the possible ways.

This looks something went wrong outside of Pega. Possible reasons that I can think of

  1. DB connections stuck - restart JBOSS or/and DB server shall resolve this
  2. run out of table space
  3. indexes got damaged
  4. statistics wiped out
