Why do you wish to delete the case type? Have any instances of the type been created? Is this in a production or development system?

Hi,

To remove the case type do the following (1) Use the Refactoring Rules -> Delete a Class (From Designer Studio | System | Tools) to delete the class associated with the case type and (2) Refresh the case types listed in the Case Designer.

I would not do this in a production system or if any instances of the type had already been created. Also be very careful if the case type has any subcases.

Hello All,

For Pega 7.1.x versions above,we can find the option to delete the class under,

System-->Refactor-->Classes

Then,we can use "Delete the Class" wizard to proceed further.

  For your question for delete a class you need to go through the  1)designer studio

2)system>Tools>Refactor rules>Delet a class

If u click on this Delet a class it opens a wizard for u for delet a class in first step

You need to give the case name in the  2nd step, there u are able to delet the case, and must conform is there any Sub-cases are in the present class ok
