CS7.1.4.1 jar import fails : Error Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'pr4_rule_PK' Can't insert duplicate key in pr4_rule
We upgraded PRPC from 6.3 SP1 to 7.2. The upgrade is successful.
Now, we are upgrading CPM from CPM : 06.03 to CS : Proprietary information hidden.
We checked the pre-requisites and executed drop trigger script. The CustomerService_714.jar import proceeds for 2-3 phases till the point it asks whether aged updated should be imported. We de-select the checkbox and proceed. Import fails with error "Save Failed: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'pr4_rule_PK'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'rules7.pr4_rule'. DatabaseException caused by prior exception: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'pr4_rule_PK'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'rules7.pr4_rule'. | SQL Code: 2627 | SQL State: 23000"
OS : Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
App : Tomcat 7.0.39
DB : sql server 2008
Please look into it and advise how to proceed further.

Hello Akhilesh
Can you import CS framework again? And this time select the check box ‘import aged updates’. I faced an issue earlier (Don’t remember the exact error name), when I re-imported it I imported all aged updates and it worked.

There were issue related to agents in log file
Able to import the CustomerService_714.jar file after disabling all CPM-Social, Pega-CTI, Pega-ProCom and the specialized application specific agents.
This has mentioned in upgrade guide (Page number 3)
