Confusion about Collection rules.

I have some confusion about Collection rules, I haven't used collection rules earlier, I was just going through the topic Business Rules -> Collections, there a screenshot of collection rule is provided in which TABs are named as Rules, Pre-Post Actions, Parameters etc. I opened a Pega 7 instance (Pega 7.1.5), created a Collection rule (Rule-Declare-Collection), but the TABs are named as Basic Collection, Preamble And Stop, Parameters etc. which are different than what is shown in the lesson. Can you please guide me on this? Am I creating any wrong rule instance?

Hi Sandeep,
Unfortunate I do not easily have a 7.1.5 to look at but you can pretty much see the Pre-Post Actions are the same as Preamble and Stop. For each itteration of Pega we do discover that some naming might not have been optimal and therefore renamed things to better suit the purpose. So you should find the same kind of functionality and maybe more functions in the renamed tab. With same kind I do not mean exact the same wording but at the end the same (kind) of result. If you look at things you will dicover quite a lot of changes between ML (7.1.5-->7.1.6) releases. Unfortunate sometimes the help texts have not yet adopted the new naming.

I'll do that. Keep in mind that training material are quite likely to run behind development now and then and this kind of thing will slip in occationaly even if we do our best to keep things in sync.

Actually you are looking at an older release (7.1.5), the screenshot reflects the rule in 7.1.6 and the course has been upgraded to 7.1.6.
