Collection Rule- Self Study
Hi,
Do we have any course with hand on exercise for Collection Rule. I searched all the course content in pdn could not find single course with collection topic.
While Implementing LSA Part-II, does collection rule is much important over activity. But what ever the collection we used, at last may need an activity to call collection rule right ?. Though we are using collection instead of activity but still activcity needs tirgger in order to execute collection rule. Kindly clarify these.

There are no courses with specific examples using collection rules. They were included in the course to deliver a full picture of available rules. The use cases for using collection rules over other solutions are rare therefore they are not covered in detail in the course. See below for links to discussions regarding collection rules:

For LSA Part II, in most cases declarative solutions are preferred over procedural solutions therefore the use of activities and collection rules should be minimized. You would be better served to familiarize yourself with the newer features of PRPC as we specifically evaluate on the ability to leverage the newer features of the tool if they are a better solution than other solutions (like activities or collections).
