Confirmation Popup on non-work object harness tab close
We have a normal harness being launched in the portal which is not a work object. We're using a dynamic container. We have a requirement that once we click the close icon on the tab of this harness a confirmation popup should come. We did the customization and in the script added a window.onbeforeunload event to fire an IE confirmation popup. On click of the close icon the event is getting fired and the IE Confirm box with "Leave this Page" and "Stay on this Page" buttons is coming but the parameter from the confirm box is not getting passed to the harness i.e. both on the click of "Leave this Page" and "Stay on this Page" it is closing the tab. Can someone help to point out what we're missing here.

When you call the confirm method, are you saving the result into a variable ? You need to save the restult into a var and check it's value. If it's true, you should call the close function. If it's false, just return.
