Hi
I wrote exam yesterday , found lot of gap between syllabus and study material available mentioned above.
I did not find any material for below topic in pdn focusing on Robotic, then i thought is Pega BPM Pega DCO related but I got totally disappointed ,
- Interpreting & implementing business requirements
- Performing Application Discovery
- Estimating Development Effort , so kindly provide where is the study material or webinar link - no material available
Also found the webinars listed and course materials provided did not cover all syllabus , so please help me to provide all the exam topics study material. Just want to let you know I finished all the webinars and study materials in pdn but did not help me in exam.
Even I read lot of topics in openspan help , I did not able to find single study material for Application Discovery in PDN as well as Openspan help unless If I am missing something.
I want to know/ url link for all the exam study materials, kindly help me.

Hi
I tried the exam today.I tried the practice exam first and got 88%. But in the actual exam the same as above happened. The practice exam got all the questions from the Pega Robotic Automation Architect Essentials but I found a vast gap between those questions and the questions in the actual exam.

As someone who is interested in taking the exam soon for the 1st time, what do you think is the best way to study for it?

After talking to some people who know more than me, they recommended taking the Pega PMF Fundamentals and the DCO Essentials pega academy courses. A few things in DCO were nice and a lot of stuff in PMF wasn't bad either. I have not taken the exam yet, but I think that it helped my understanding of "Robotic Automation" somewhat.

I was not prepared for an exam like this, which involved the practice exam, Webinar, and a few other things. A majority of the exam seemed to be related to: how to fix problems that someone else (coworker/user) may encounter(A), project initializing for team building(B), and keyboard shortcuts/which mouse clicking path to do task(C). There were also some questions to app development (the parts of the exam I really understood) (D), but there was little in the way of Webinar video content and problem solving. The last Pega exam I took was CSA and it was different mindset, perhaps CSSA or LSA has a similar mentality to this exam structure. I hope this is helpful in your preparation in taking this exam.
(A) Going through the multiple diagnostic steps of figuring out why User A had these types of issues from their debug file.
(B) How to create the project to interact with certain users, what settings to select in the creation, what some concerns will be if create a project for this situation etc.
(C) "Do you right-click then ... to delete breakpoints", open certain tool property, what does F10 do, etc.
(D) how to interrogate to Web Page using highlight feature, etc.
PS these are not actual exam questions, these are just examples.

There is a huge gap between actual robotics exam and the material provided in PDN. I am very sure, 50% of questions are not covered by these courses at all.
I am not sure, where to find the right material for this.
Questions are too lengthy too... totally disappointed with the actual exam pattern.
I would suggest, please don't attend the exam based on the courses and material provided in PDN. Please be very cautious.
PEGA should revisit the course material and exam pattern.

Having gone through course material and seen the exam questions I can say that the exam is definitely meant for people with a deep understanding of Robotics particularly from work experience (hence the requirement specified in CRSA). I found some of the questions to be a bit unfair, particularly sequence questions, whereby the questions goes about how one would order a list of 7 steps for deployment or in interrogating a hidden web control, or how to organise components for a web adapter (with a StartOnProjectStart property set to false) in a sequence to achieve an end result. In these questions some steps are specifically required to be in an order, however, some steps can be put in a later stage, depending on the scenario. These questions presumably have 1 correct answer from an examiner's perspective and hence if the test-taker provides a good answer and not the best answer, it means they just need to make good in the other sections including the 3 experimental questions.

I took the exam today, but experimental question did not showed up! i just got 60 questions in the test! not sure how this is working differently in some situations.
