Case Management - Under the Hood
Hi, the quiz in this lesson has this question,
If the Stages could not be edited for a specific case because the rule is locked, what rule could be locked? (Choose One)
pyDefault Case Type rule - Correct answer
pyConfigureStages Flow rule
pyConfigureStages Case Type rule
pyStartCase Flow rule
but in the guide it says that "This opens the Case Type rule, pyDefault. Let's look at this in detail, so that we can understand where the Case Designer configurations are stored in this rule. This rule is also used to configure some items that are not part of Case Designer. Here we see that the rule is not locked, as there is no lock icon or check out button."
What am i missing in here ? If the pyDefault cannot be locked as per the guide, how is the answer to this question is pyDefault ? Can someone please help me :) Thanks..
Sort of a trick question.
Case Designer will allow edits to be saved to different rules, the Case Type rule itself in particular, as long as the Case Type rule's ruleset has a unlocked version.
In effect the Case Type rule is locked when there is no unlocked ruleset version.
If you unlock a ruleset version and the a Case Type rule does not respond you can open the rule and explicitly unlock it.
