Can Pega 7 Personal Edition be installed in Ubuntu Machine ?

I'm having a Laptop with Ubuntu OS, 4GB ram, 3rd gen Intel based CPU Processor.

I have seen the Pre-requisties for installing the Pega 7 in the Installation document. It mentioned only about Windows 7 OS.

Can I install Pega 7 Personal Edition in Ubuntu OS ? If no, is there any other alternative for me to have Pega 7 Personal Edition installed in my PC ?

The Pega 7 Personal Edition only runs on Windows.

You could install the personal edition in a Windows virtual machine and run that vm from your Linux pc. 

for what it's worth, when you enroll in self-study at Pega Academy, each course comes with a pre-configured Pega 7 vitual machine.

By reading the exercise, you will find the operator ID and password to use for each exercise in each lesson of each course.
