Announcing the new Robotic Automation Ready badge!

New Robotic Automation Ready badge is available in Pega Academy transcripts!

The badge is enabled (blue) for students in the Pega Academy transcript if students have taken:

  • Robotic Automation Essentials (8.0) course and assessment
    OR
  • Previous OpenSpan Core Training course and assessments

If students have not completed the training and associated assessments, the badge will appear as disabled (gray.)

To find the badge on the PDN, log in and click on your name in the upper-right corner (Hello…).

To find the badge on Pega Academy select My Courses > My Transcript.

   Thank you so much for providing this information. I realize the Robotic Automation is new.  I realize the Badge is new. Can you provide any insight as to when a Robotic Automation Certification may be available? 

    I understand it takes time to develop tests and certification requirements.  Just curious if there is a Ballpark estimate as to when that will be available.

    Thank you again for keeping us informed on new PEGA products and opportunities.

Hi,

Thanks for your question. We are targeting a Robotics exam to be available at the end of September. There will be an announcement on the Pearson VUE site (http://pearsonvue.com/pegasystems) and in Pega Academy when the exam is available.

Hi,

Has the date been confirmed on when the certification exam will be available ? I have completed the 'Pega Robotic Automation Architect Essentials 8.0' course and yet to take the assessment and if I don't finish by September 30th then I will have to appear for the certification examination ?

Hi Maryrita-

 

I have completed Robotics Course and the online assessment and I also could see that I am having Robotics ready badge appearing against my Pega PDN ID. Do I need to still attempt for the external certification ?
