Access when not working
Only some users of a particular access group will be able to access case type "x" . added a role to access group and provided the access to only some of the users for that case type. I tried it using access when rule( hard coded the values of users who will be having the access) also I tried to add conditional access(Access when rule) to the case type using access manager. But it dint work instead i was able to access the case type. I tried the same with access deny rule then it worked. Is there any issue in access when rule I am using 7.1.7 and 7.17 version of pega. Please provide your inputs

Is this "restricted role" the only role in your access group?
YES; then ignore the question/answer below.
Is there any other role in your access group that has access to these case types ?
YES; then the most permissive role will take precedence and make your "restricted role" ineffective.
