In the toolbar of an optimized table, the “Fields” button will launch an overlay containing several checkboxes respective to which columns are currently visible in the table. Drag to reorder is not available to keyboard users for optimized tables. You may ensure that your application does not include operations that users cannot perform by keyboard by turning off the ability to reshuffle columns for tables that you use in the group by overlay. To support this, the pyDragDropCategorizeColumns 'when' rule has been added. This is set to true by default and setting it false will disable the rule. Disabling this rule must be combined with unchecking "Enable drag to reorder items" (in the operation tab of the repeating dynamic layouts property panel) in pyGridCategorization to fully disable drag/drop. Logical focus order in modal dialog launched from Attach Content control

Keyboard focus only on column header action menu/actions menu

Design Theme:
An instructions button is now present in table toolbar. Activating it will launch and overlay containing keyboard navigation instructions for the table. Instructions can be modified and customized to suit application needs. When navigating between column header cells, keyboard focus will only move between a given cell’s respective action menu button. This button is associated with the header label and will also reflect details to screen readers if the column is sorted or filtered. For any cells containing just a single interactive element, focus will be placed directly on the element when focused rather than the outer cell. Navigating to any cells with multiple interactive elements, screen readers will announce “contains controls”. Pressing Enter will allow users to bring focus within the cell and subsequent arrow key presses allow for navigation between the interactive elements. Esc will bring focus back to the cell. Enabling checkboxes within an optimized table with select all functionality is now possible. This has been resolved in Infinity ‘24.1. Support has also been added for being able to check a row checkbox and enable the row header checkbox.
Optimized tables support row headers

Design Theme:
Optimized tables support row header configuration based on the column importance. Within the Table Column Properties configuration, setting the column’s importance to Primary will allow for that column to be designated as a row header for the table. It is strongly recommended to flag the first data column in your table as the Primary for best screen reader experience.
Left panel elements all accessible by Tab key

The Recent Reports table available to managers is now an optimized table and programmatically labeled by a caption. When navigating to any gear icon in the table, screen readers will announce that the button launches a menu along with relevant keyboard navigation instructions. The visual heading of the Report Details dialog (Report Actions menu) is now a semantic h2 element. On the Schedule Report page, Delete icons in the Task Output Processing section are now programmatically associated with its respective row index.
Report table filter component updates to roles, labels, and dialogs

The list of filters applied (“Filtered by: “) when viewing a report is no longer marked up as a table. Individual filter links receive focus as the user navigates by Tab. In the Edit filter dialog, focus is placed on the dialog h2 title when selecting a filter link in a report. Checkboxes within are programmatically labeled. In the Select values dialog, Search input field and checkboxes are programmatically labeled. Performing a search in the dialog will only occur on pressing enter (either the input itself or the icon) rather than immediately upon typing. When search occurs, focus moves to the first checkbox in the results list. When editing a date filter, the Time Periods selection box is programmatically labeled. In the Calculation builder dialog, function parameter elements are coded as buttons and interactable via keyboard. Input fields have programmatic labels.
Reports list table component updates

Design Theme:
Report tables are now programmatically labeled by the report title. Action menus for column headers are coded as menu buttons and provide screen reader users context that activating will open the menu. Each action menu is programmatically associated with its respective column header label. In the Appearance modal dialog (actions on table column), input fields have programmatic visible labels. In the Summarize modal dialog (action on table column), checkboxes have programmatic visible labels.
Reports summary table component updates

Expand collapse icons provide state (expanded/collapsed) to assistive technologies and is actionable via keyboard to expand or collapse. Summary tables no longer have tabstops on the first cell of each row. Tab stops are limited to row values and expand/collapse icons. Row values are coded as links and are actionable via keyboard, labeled by the hierarchy path. Rows that are actionable via mouse (usually to drill down) are now actionable with keyboard Enter key.
Create menu provides current state for screen readers
