Will Java version upgrade on the desktop affect Pega application?

Client is planning for Java version upgrade on their desktops (client side) and need to determine if Pega application will be impacted.  

My understanding is that only the Java version on 'server side' would impact Pega application but wanted to verify.

SR-D91519 - No, a Java upgrade on the desktop will not have an impact on Pega.  By default, all Pega Java code runs on the server and only JavaScript runs on the desktop.  That runs inside the browser.
