If the host based start up option is selected for a JMS listener, and node count is selected say 1 when there are more than one nodes, which node will be selected by the system to run the listener and on what basis?
Yes, node based start is clear. However, my question is when ‘host based start up option’ and we provide a node count without specifying a node , which node does the PRPC select if there are more nodes than the node count given in the configuration and based on what is the node selected?

It seems to be first come-first-first-serve in terms of which nodes the JMS listeners are enabled. All the enabled listener records are in Log-Connect-AssignedNodes class (mapping to pr_log table). For example, if a given host has three nodes, the first node comes up with no records in pr_log table initially but once it is enabled, there will be a record in the table. If your nodecount equals 2, another node starting up will be enabled but not the third node. The logic is the same as you are trying to start the listener from SMA.
