When will Pega Robotics Studio support version switching like Runtime 19.1.1
The ability for runtime users to switch their version of Runtime based on the Package being run is fantastic and allows us to develop in newer versions of Pega Robotics faster since the upgrade process is much more streamlined.
However, this isn't really the case for our developers and production support team, who still have to manually uninstall/reinstall the different versions of Robotics Studio/Plug-In based on the Robot being supported.
Are there plans to update Robotics Studio/Plug-In so that it works similarly to the runtime? If so, is there a rough timeline for when this would be available?

Unfortunately during our process of upgrading all of our RDA packages to 19.1 (from 8.0) we only managed to upgrade 1/2 of our packages before running into a scenario where an RDA package requires a newer runtime version than the robots that we only just finished upgrading.
I am not sure how many other organizations find themselves in a similar situation to ours, but our production support team does need to switch their development environment versions quite frequently to be able to support the number of different RDA packages that are in use throughout the organization.
So, would it be accurate to say that Pega is not working on a newer version of the development environment that can switch versions in a similarly dynamic way that the Runtime now does?

I know the product does not currently support this. I can't really comment on what features may be coming to the product as those are handled by different people. If you do have need for new functionality, I would suggest working with your Engagement Leader or your Client Success Manager from Pega to get new features requested formally.
Developers should not really have to switch versions frequently. If you have a situation where you are going back and forth, you might consider upgrading the older solutions to the newest version since presumably, you are making changes that require testing anyway. Synch Server would make it easy to update the runtime on those machines, so changing versions of the project should really be a matter of testing (which you'd already be going through anyway).
