When will EJB 3.0 be supported?
Hello,
I was wondering when EJB 3.0 will be supported by Pega. Currently we are in version 7.2.0. Our EAR file contains an ejb3 xml file, but was told in a Pega SR that it was just a placeholder for a future version of Pega to make use of. They were unsure what version would make use of that file, however. So now I'm asking here! Thanks to anyone with info!

I am not aware of any immediate plan for the EJB3 support. Do you have any business use cases why you want Pega EJB3 support?

Thank you for your reply. We would like it so we can use Java 8 on WebSphere at some point in the future and think we need EJB 3.0 for that to work. Right now we are on Java 6 and can instead use Java 7, which will suffice for now. I have been told that we will be upgrading our servers in around 1 and a half years, which will require Java 8 at that time.
