What is the version of the iText library, used in PRPC 6.3 SP1 installation package/built

Hi,
we have requirement on PDF compression. According to above post we can use iText library.
we are using pega 7.1.9 which is holding iText version 2.1.7. I googled for the "iText version 2.1.7" docs but i did not get it.
can anyone help me one this?
and it would be great full if anyone shares the sample java code for this.
