What is the activity?
When I was learning Pega, I found that the word "activity" appeared repeatedly in the learning materials. Could you please help to explain what activity is and provide an example of using the scene?

Activities are rules which contain a series of steps that run sequentially and is used to automate complex logic which cannot be achieved using a data transform.

Hi @AceC16591747, Activities are rules in which contains when conditions,steps and jump conditions. When is used to check for pre-condition. Steps means you will be able to write the methods inside it. Jump condition means when the Step status fail jump to later step (or) If the Step Status is good then exit activity. @Kamineni Surya Hi, thanks for the sharing, if I define a report definition, can I add the report definition as a method to the step of the activity?

Call Rule-Obj-Report-Defintion.pxRetrieveReportData. it has parameters.
Provide Report Name and the class in which you created Report.

Example ; you want to connect to external data then activity is used. you want to do background process automatically to do some transaction or business logic then activity is used.
