"Verify Security Check" task @ Latest Deployment Manager
Hi Team,
Could someone please provide details regarding the mechanism of "Verify Security Check" task @ Latest Deployment Manager.

Hi Pradeep,
“Verify Security Checklist” is a manual security task where administrator/lead system architect of the application should confirm that all security tasks mentioned in “Application Guide” has been done.
During deployment process, Deployment Manager checks whether all the security tasks have been confirmed for that application. If any one of the task is not confirmed deployment will be stopped at that step.

To make sure this is clearly understood for anyone coming here. The Deployment Manager security checklist task is simply enforcing the capability in the platform for an Security Application Guide. For detailed information see the article : Security checklist for deploying applications
Currently all the tasks are manually entered and verified as you can see in the screenshot below. The API used by Deployment Manager just checks that all the checklist have been answered. Automatic validation of this checklist is coming in 8.4
